| Inside Industry News KOSTAL UK SHOWS YORKSHIRE BUSINESSES LEAN SUCCESS Partaking in the Inside Industry programme is enabling successful automotive component manufacturer Kostal UK to offer Yorkshire businesses “top tips” on how to become more lean and agile and succeed in an increasingly competitive global market.Kostal manufactures and assembles plastic moulded electrical switches for major customers in the automotive industry, including the Ford Premier Automotive Group (Jaguar, Land Rover, Aston Martin, and Volvo). Since the company became an Inside Industry host, 4 visits have been organised to the company’s Rotherham site; which have collectively attracted 77 people from manufacturing businesses in the surrounding Yorkshire region. Barry Johnson, human resources manager at Kostal UK said: “we’re extremely proud of what Kostal has achieved and we wanted to get involved in Inside Industry so that we could share these experiences with others. “Its also given a real boost to our employees who are able to showcase how they work and answer questions on what they have done to achieve success.
